First Rohilla War
1773 – 1774
The East India Company helped the Nawab of Awadh conquer the Rohilla Afghans of Rohilkhand. The Rohilla leader Hafiz Rahmat Khan died in battle, and the campaign later fed the impeachment case against Warren Hastings.
