Crisis in West Germany when the Red Army Faction kidnapped the employers' leader Hanns Martin Schleyer and allies hijacked a Lufthansa jet to free jailed RAF leaders; it ended with the rescue in Mogadishu, the Stammheim prison deaths and Schleyer's murder.
