November Uprising
November 29, 1830 – October 21, 1831
Polish cadets and soldiers in Warsaw rose against Russian rule in Congress Poland, and the revolt grew into a war. Russian troops crushed it in 1831, and Russia then abolished much of Polish autonomy.
