Orlov revolt
February 1770 – June 17, 1771
Greeks in the Peloponnese rose against Ottoman rule with the support of a Russian naval expedition under the Orlov brothers. Ottoman and Albanian forces crushed the revolt, and many Greeks were killed in reprisals.
