Red Cloud's War
1866 – 1868 · Powder River Country
The Lakota, Northern Cheyenne and Northern Arapaho under Red Cloud fought the US Army over forts on the Bozeman Trail. The US agreed in the Treaty of Fort Laramie to abandon the forts.
