The Perekop-Chongar operation (7-17 November 1920): Frunze's Southern Front, with Budyonny's 1st Cavalry Army and Makhnovist allies under the Starobilsk agreement, stormed Wrangel's fortifications on the Perekop isthmus. The Soviet-Makhnovist victory broke into Crimea and forced the White evacuation - the last major battle of the Civil War.
