Christopher Wray

Christopher Asher Wray (born 1966) is an American attorney who served as the eighth director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 2017 to 2025. Nominated by President Donald Trump to replace James Comey, he was confirmed by the Senate in 2017. He previously served as Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division from 2003 to 2005.
