Babi Yar massacre

29 to 30 September 1941: at the Babi Yar ravine in Kyiv, Sonderkommando 4a of Einsatzgruppe C, aided by Order Police battalions and the Ukrainian Auxiliary Police, murdered 33,771 Jews. An estimated 100,000 to 150,000 people were murdered at Babi Yar during the German occupation.
