Operation Collar (commando raid)
June 24–25, 1940 · Neufchâtel-Hardelot
Result Inconclusive
The first British commando raid of the war landed on the French coast near Le Touquet, undertaken by newly formed and poorly trained troops. It achieved little but gave the commandos early experience.
