Meeting of Nazi German officials and SS leaders at Wannsee on 20 January 1942. Called by SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich to coordinate the Final Solution to the Jewish Question, it outlined rounding up European Jews for extermination camps in occupied Poland. A surviving copy of the protocol served as evidence at the Nuremberg trials; Wannsee House is now a Holocaust memorial.
