Biography
Diana Spencer was the daughter of an aristocratic family and worked as a nursery assistant before marrying Charles, Prince of Wales, in 1981 in a widely watched ceremony. They had two sons, William and Harry.
She became one of the most photographed people in the world and was known for her charity work, including on HIV/AIDS and the campaign against landmines.
