Alfred Jodl

Alfred Jodl (1890–1946) was a German military officer and convicted war criminal who served as chief of the operations staff of the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, the German Armed Forces High Command, throughout World War II. After the war he was indicted at the Nuremberg trials on charges including conspiracy to commit crimes against peace, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. He was found guilty on all charges and sentenced to death.
