Kenji Doihara (1883–1948) was a Japanese general and intelligence officer instrumental in the Japanese invasion of Manchuria and the establishment of Manchukuo. He was involved in the 1931 Mukden Incident and brought the former Chinese emperor Puyi to Manchuria as its nominal ruler. After Japan's surrender he was convicted of war crimes by the International Military Tribunal for the Far East and executed.
