Edmund Randolph

Edmund Randolph (1753–1813) was an American Founding Father and attorney who served as the first U.S. attorney general and then as the second secretary of state under President George Washington. He was the seventh governor of Virginia and, as a delegate to the Constitutional Convention, served on its Committee of Detail.
