Qianlong Emperor

The Qianlong Emperor (personal name Hongli, 1711–1799) was the fifth emperor of the Qing dynasty and the fourth Qing emperor to rule China proper. He reigned officially from 1735 until his abdication in 1796, retaining ultimate power until his death in 1799, which made him one of history's longest-reigning and longest-lived monarchs. His reign saw ambitious military campaigns into Inner Asia, Burma, Nepal, and Vietnam and the suppression of rebellions.
