Akira Mutō
December 15, 1892 – December 23, 1948
Akira Mutō (1892–1948) was a general in the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. He was convicted of war crimes and executed by hanging. He was implicated in both the Nanjing Massacre and the Manila massacre.
